Miss Alison Vallette

Miss Vallette has over 35 years of experience in professional dance internationally, dancing in tours of the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia. She trained in UK with the Bush Davies Ballet School and Elmhurst Ballet School, completing her training in Australia with Kathleen Gorham and later with the Australian Dance Theatre School. Miss Vallette has danced professionally in London, Europe and Australia. She is also a mentor for trainee teachers for the Royal Academy of Dance.
Alison holds both a Teaching Certificate and Teaching Diploma with the Royal Academy of Dance with Distinction, a Diploma of Dance Teaching and Business Management, and is a teaching member of the Southern Federation of Dance. Students trained by Miss Vallette have gone on to further study at the Australian Ballet School, Sydney Dance Company Pre Professional year, Queensland Ballet Junior Extension programme, WAAPA, QUT, ED5, Ministry for Dance, and many are now practicing dance professionals in their chosen fields, including the Australian Ballet Company.
Miss Vallette is also a freelance choreographer/director. Her work includes West Side Story, Oklahoma, Jesus Christ Superstar, Sweet Charity, Disney’s Beauty and The Beast, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Cabaret, Singin’ in the Rain, Cats, Monty Python’s Spamalot, The boy from Oz, The Wizard of Oz, Hairspray, Phantom of the Opera, Mary Poppins, Wicked, Esgee’s Pirates of Penzance & Kinky Boots.
Alison is also co-creative producer of RAVA Productions and has directed “Charlottes Web”, ‘Lovesick” & is in rehearsal for a new production of “Wind in the Willows” in 2021.
